M-52 Tunnel Construction on the B2B Trail

The M-52 Tunnel, adjacent to Green Lake, replaces an originally planned at-grade crossing. This tunnel connects the Waterloo and Pinckney Recreation areas. The Border-to-Border (B2B) Trail segment which this tunnel is a part of runs from Green Lake to North Territorial Road. Anticipated completion for this trail segment and the tunnel is the summer of 2020.

Tunnel construction was 100% privately funded by the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative (HWPI) and their generous supporters.
