NORA AUNOR & DOLPHY - A Musical Comedy Skit

Ms. NORA AUNOR - National Artist for Music - once again showcased her musicality and natural flair for comedy alongside the comedic genius of DOLPHY, Philippine Cinema's King of Comedy in a rare musical comedy skit aired as a TV Musical Special.

Backstory: My participation in this musical skit was not planned. In the spur of the moment, Director Al Quinn asked me to play the piano for Ate Guy and Pidol. I was not prepared. The production staff had to look for something that I could wear to make me look presentable enough for TV. That was the reason why I got a good-natured teasing from Mang Dolphy for the "palarang" coat I was wearing. Such a lovable jokester, this man, Dolphy! Hahaha!
