Abstract
The talk will cover assembly rules and invasive species control in restoration, showing results of systematic reviews where we synthesized information from studies on invasive species control in restoration, and studies that manipulated species planting/sowing order of arrival. I will explore both topics with examples of research done in Southern Brazil.

Speaker Bio: Emanuela Wehmuth Alves Weidlich
My professional records involve both scientific research and teaching experience. I have experience with research that integrates ecological theories and practices to sustain restoration and conservation, in both, temperate grasslands and subtropical forests. I have been working with assembly rules and invasive species control in restoration (focusing on belowground interactions), as well as in understanding stakeholders about invasive species and restoration. Currently I work as a lecturer at Leuphana University in Germany.
