Testing out the beta release of Jose Tejada's CPS core for the DE-10 Nano 'MiSTer' FPGA platform, specifically with the intention of checking behavior of the Guile glitches on Street Fighter 2: World Warrior. Also some quick SF2 Hyper Fighting and Street Fighter Alpha (cps changer).

The CPS core will be made publicly available once more testing has been done and it comes out of beta.

Apologies for the out of sync mic audio - my first live stream, I was bound to get a couple of things wrong. Turns out the USB mic had no delay, but the elgato I was using did - and I didn't realise I needed to account for that in OBS :/ Since it's all captured in one stream, I can't fix it in post, either :( It means you can hear my button presses before you can see the effect on-screen, and also there is a little early echo you can hear of sound effects as the mic picks up the monitor speakers before the elgato processes it. Should have used headphones...

I also want to address one claim I made in this video that I have learned is incorrect - there ARE some revisions of World Warrior where the Guile 'reset' (or blackout) glitch DO cause the 'scrolling' behaviour that I saw in emulators. I suspect that a 'default version' of the ROM changed revision at some time in the past 22 years and that may account for why I thought it was emulator-only. But it sure isn't! I plan on making a matrix of all the revisions and which glitches work on them.
