In this video I discuss a few topics that are all interrelated. Much of the discussion revolves around if it is possible to Square the Circle while using the traditional tools of a geometer (compass and straight edge)
. Squaring the circle relates to the puzzle of creating a drawing where the perimeter of the circle and circumference are equal, or that the circle and square have the same area. If such a drawing existed it would also contain the base angle of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which some reference as 51.853˚... or 51˚51'14". Such a drawing would also encode precise information about the value of pi used to determine the circumference of a circle. Does such a drawing exist that contains this incredible amount of information on some of these great mysteries? Here I will discuss methods that have attempted to recreate depictions of these wonderful relationships and show how close they come to solving the puzzle. I also discuss how the golden ratio relates to this inquiry and how some have proposed that the value of pi is based on the golden ratio and should be 3.144... You may leave this presentation with more questions than perfect answers, which is fantastic as I hope you'll all contribute unraveling the mysteries, as there is much more to discover in how all these themes in sacred geometry relate.
