FE Exam Study Tip - You must learn the fundamentals!

When it comes to wisely preparing for your FE exam, there are certain "knowledge gaps" you need to close before moving into the next topic or section. 

Simply put, a "knowledge gap" is prior information one needs to know before transitioning into covering new information that's dependent on this prior information. For example, you may have a "knowledge gap" in not knowing how to manipulate algebraic equations. If you do nothing about this knowledge gap, you'll likely get overwhelmed, frustrated, or demotivated when you are constantly getting stuck on problems that require a solid understanding of algebra. 

Take a step back. Take it easy. And give yourself the time and effort to focus on closing these gaps of knowledge. It will make your studying go a lot smoother and ultimately, make your learning a lot more enjoyable.
