Bogra is a northern district of Bangladesh, in the Rajshahi Division.
It is called the gateway to North Bengal.
It is also a bridge between Rajshahi Division and Rangpur Division.
Bogra is an industrial city where many small and mid-sized industries are sited.
Mahasthangarh, the earliest urban archaeological site so far discovered in Bangladesh is located in Bogra.
Former Diplomat and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Bogra was born in Bogra.
