Doors Open Days 2021 - Consulate General of France and Institut français d'Ecosse

Описание к видео Doors Open Days 2021 - Consulate General of France and Institut français d'Ecosse

Founded in 1946, the Institut français d’Ecosse is the Scottish outpost of the French Embassy in the United Kingdom. Within its Edinburgh base, it combines: a cultural venue with a seventy-seat theatre for shows, concerts, theatre plays, conferences, cinema screenings, and an art gallery; a French-language centre with around 1,500 students per year, more than 150 classes and 15 teachers; and a resource centre with our multimedia library.

The Institut français d’Ecosse and the Consulate General of France in Edinburgh have participated for the past 7 years in Doors Open Days, an event coordinated by the Cockburn Association, which invites people to discover Edinburgh’s architectural and cultural heritage for free.

Can’t visit the Institute in person? No worries! We have prepared a special video introducing you to our building and giving you some information on the names behind our spaces.
