As a first-generation college student at the W. P. Carey School of Business, David Martinez wants to show others that they can find success too. After moving from Mexico with his family, he decided to attend Arizona State University because it allowed him to advance his career and life while staying close to home. Inspired by his grandfather, David wants to become a businessman so he can support and work with others. He’s gained confidence through supportive classmates, faculty, and a tight-knit community while attending classes at ASU’s Polytechnic campus.
