Billions of dollars in Venture Capital funding have created an ecosystem of “Big Data”, “Cognitive Intelligence”, “Cloud Technology”, etc. companies seeking to extract information from anything and everything (e.g. unstructured text, sensors, satellites, etc.). This “Data Revolution” began in California and is now blossoming globally.
