Kiln opening (not quite) new and old glaze combinations. Amaco, Mayco, Spectrum, Staffordshire

At times it can be both exciting and daunting trying out new glazes as there is a risk of complete disaster or utter triumph when you've spent so much time and effort making a piece of pottery.

Through personal experience I can honestly say it’s through trial and error that my work has improved.

Don’t be scared to take a risk and try something new. It could be the best thing you ever do!

Most of the pots in this video are made using the slip cast method with porcelain P2
