How to Crochet the Long Wave Stitch | Step-by-Step Crochet Stitch Tutorial

Supplies
Hook: 5mm ergonomic
Yarn: @lionbrandyarn Lazy Days

Row 1:
Chain multiples of 14 + 2 (example 30 in video)
Starting in 2nd chain from hook
Single crochet (SC) 2
Half double crochet (HDC) 2
Double crochet (DC) 2
Treble crochet (TR) 3
DC 2
HDC 2
SC 3 (between waves it’s 3 but at the beginning and end of rows there will only be 2 SC)
Repeat to end of row

Row 2:
Chain 1, turn
SC across
(Change colors on last SC of row 2)

Row 3: (video in part 2 on my page)
Chain 3 (counts as 1st stitch), turn
TR 1
DC 2
HDC 2
SC 3
REPEAT full wave pattern to end of row

Continue alternating rows 1 & 3 with a row of SC between.
