Golden jubilee celebration of Zeliangrong Heraka started at Lodi

Haflong: Three days celebration of golden jubilee of Zeliangrong Heraka cum 42nd general conference of Zeliangrong Heraka Association, Northeast India commenced with great zeal and enthusiasm at Lodi village in Haflong.

On the day NC Hill Autonomous Council CEM Debolal Gorlosa graced the program as a chief guest along with guest of honour Puranmon Kynjing, Jaintia King of Meghalaya, Vinayak Rao Desh Pandey, organising secretary, Akhil Bhartiya Viswa Hindu Parishad and other dignitaries.

Haingaukambe Kuame, president of Zeliangrong Heraka welcome the gathering highlighting a brief account of establishment of Heraka as a religion.

Chief guest Gorlosa briefed on indigenous practice of the Zeme people which is pass on from generation to generation and appeals to protect and preserve it at any cost.
