Students' t test is used to test for a significant difference between two samples. In this video we have two groups being tested once - therefore it is an unpaired (independent) t test. In order to determine which t test formula you should use you must first do an F test for equal/unequal variance. In this video learn how to calculate "t" by hand, plus the appropriate degrees of freedom to use.
