RUN1481 "Welcome to 1481"

Welcome to 1481! This short creative documentary written and filmed by RUN 1481 invites viewers into their community by sharing personal portraits of everyday life, friendship, and play in 1481 Limberlost. Their film shows how together youth can create community -- a positive and shared space of belonging. With their voices and an original song RUN 1481 counter negative prevailing misconceptions of their community, and of young people living in this community.

London on June 22nd, 2013.

Real Voice is a non-profit community development project
focused on creating opportunities for young people to lead
change in neighbourhoods. No monetary gain was obtained
from the Real Voice movies and the Real Voice Film Fest.
