**In a cruel twist of fate, Boruto's and Kawaki's lives have been switched due to a powerful shinjutsu called Omnipotence. Now branded a traitor wanted for the "murders" of Naruto and Hinata, Boruto is on the run from his village, living life as a rogue ninja, and training with Sasuke. But when Konoha comes under attack, it's time for a grown-up Boruto to return home and show how powerful he's become!

With Gaara left near death following the battle with Matsuri, Boruto watches from the shadows as Sarada and Mitsuki are led by Konohamaru into a mission into the sand village to rescue both Gaara and Shinki, but in order to do so they must team up with Sand village shinobi, Yodo and Araya. However, once the battles against Ryu and Matsuri take a turn for the worse, Boruto is forced to step in and in doing so he has now brought forth the wrath of the shinju known as Jura! Boruto & Sarada's war on Jura takes a turn for the worst!

Can the boy framed for the murder of the seventh hokage, naruto uzumaki, prove his innocence in a world that has forgotten his true idenitiy? Can Boruto and Sarada's bond allow the duo to face the battles ahead? Will Boruto helping save the kazekage lead to his name being cleared? Can Kawaki's new power and sarada's mangekyou sharingan awakening stop Jura or is the war on Jura destined to fail?
