A North Charleston Police Department officer has been placed on administrative leave after a Tuesday afternoon incident involving a juvenile at a Circle K gas station on Rivers Avenue.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the Circle K in reference to a reported vandalism. Upon arrival, they identified an individual entering the store.

The report states that the caller noted that the individual was selling palmetto roses in front of the store, and officers noticed several roses stuck into the cases of water in front of the store, damaging the plastic holders for the water. Reportedly, the complainant, who was also the manager of the store, stated that they wanted the juvenile to pay for the water since it was damaged.
