Sculpting a Tiki Face w/ Eli Mazet

Glass Central Station is honored to present this content from the 2019 Glass Craft & Bead Expo. Eli Mazet is an award winning glass artist and author of "The Contemporary Shot Glass." He has been working with glass for over 15 years and teaches at the University of Oregon. During his class "Tikis and Skulls" he shared the creation of a Tiki head in solid and hollow forms. In addition to sculptural techniques, Eli shared decorative methods utilizing frit and a unique methodology for adding a pendant bail to solid sculpture.
