Original Game Boy Vertical Lines Repair - Retro Console Restoration

In this video I repair an original 1989 Game Boy DMG-01 that doesn't power on due to heavily corroded battery contacts, and also has a faulty screen. The unit is in otherwise excellent condition for its age. The only additional component that would make it look brand new is a new screen lens which I ordered online but did not arrive in time for this video. The unit also came with an accompanying Light Boy VLB-02 which also does not power on but I address it separately in the next video.
