Archive 81 is one of the more unique Netflix exclusive shows that follows in the same weird lane as shows like Black Mirror and Stranger Things. However, it may have fallen short where those succeeded as the show will not be renewed for a second season.

The atmosphere, soundtrack, cinematography, and actors are fantastic in this short-lived series. It is some of the writing, and some of the decisions of the characters in the show, that may have limited it's audience. That and the fact that the story is a slow burn, it may have turned off some viewers.

This is my review of the Netflix original series "Archive 81".
