Viren Botejue was piloting his good buddy, late Mr. Kaushalya Samarasinghe’s Evo in SLGT at Southern Eliyakanda Hillclimb. Originally they were supposed to share the car in the SLGT class, but unfortunately tragic struck. Viren managed to put down a solid lap earning him 2nd place in the SLGT class just only two hundredths of second shy behind the 1st place, paying a great a tribute to his good friend.
