Nepal's Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli has resigned following massive Gen-Z led protest against social media ban. The protest unrest resulted in at least 19 deaths and hundreds injured and also prompted the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak

In Nepal, thousands of young people from Generation Z took to the streets to protest against corruption and the social media ban. The protesters entered the Nepalese parliament building, prompting police to use tear gas and water cannons. These protesters are voicing their opposition to the social media ban imposed by the Nepalese government. As a result, a curfew has been imposed in Kathmandu, and security measures have been tightened.
