With another versatile and impressive four track EP, Dutch techmeister Stephen J. Kroos again proves that quantity and quality can go hand in hand.

Chosen to open James Grant's 'Anjunadeep:03' disc, the first track 'Micrsh' is an ocean's deep tech-house masterpiece that operates at the deeper end of the label's spectrum. A journey through glistening shimmers and beautiful bass chasms, 'Micrsh' lulls the listener into its dreamy groove before tweaking their consciousness with subtle shifts in its rhythmic matrix.

Adding a deep melodic touch, 'When Autumn Comes' takes things closer to the sound of classic Detroit techno with its warm pads and clean analogue synth melodies.

Upping the tempo slightly, 'Encode' is a hypnotic tech-houser with a cheeky bump and plenty of twists and turns - including a curveball uplifting breakdown.

Impressive finale 'Safe Radiation' sees the Dutchman in more melodic mood still, thanks to a hypnotic, unwinding synth-line that gradually works its way through the track in an epic, ambitious arrangement.
