The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is currently the king of gaming CPUs. It outperforms the previous crownholder, Intel's i9-12900KS with lower clock speeds and less cores.

I was always under the impression that faster CPU clock speeds and more cores meant better gaming performance. So, I was curious to see how the X3D does what it does. I'll be taking a look at how effective the 3D V Cache is in EFT and how it's affected (or not affected) by different RAM speeds.

I compared performance between different RAM speeds: 3933 CL14, 3200 CL16, and 2667 CL20. I was truly surprised by the results of the testing, see for yourself and let me know what you think. Enjoy.

The FPS Min, 1% and 0.1% are lower for 3933MHz in this screenshot because I went into the main menu on accident during that run. Overall, factoring in RNG and margins of error, I can confirm the numbers were about equal across all runs)
