We have a new series! These are educational shorts - presented by our Education Officer Dave (a qualified history teacher) - on different subjects directly related to the UK curriculum. These will be shared across teacher networks and groups as well as through our usual social media routes. They are short in length to be suitable for what teachers need in the classroom. This directly aligns with our work on Education as part of our charity application.

This video gives an overview of the development of the Sub Machine Gun concept at the end of the First World War. Also, it provides a practical demonstration of the Lee-Enfield rifle against the Thompson M1928 for the rate of fire and target-switching benefits of the SMG over the rifle.
