This is a review of the Rode VideoMic Studio Boom Kit. It comes with all the essentials for better audio recording! It is a shotgun studio microphone with suspension to reduce movement when recording on the run.

Review:
I really like the Rode VideoMic Microphone so far, it does a great job of reducing the tinniness of my voice and increases the lows to sound much more natural. It also has a low pass filter to get rid of a lot of hums and buzzes in the background. You do have to keep the mic close to your mouth, which is why the boom stand is so important.

It is $150 for the Rode VideoMic, plus the cost of the boom stand kit. It's definitely a worth investment for a Youtube, or amateur video or audio artist!
