This Porsche 911 RSR Tribute is a remarkable lightweight ‘restomod’ build by renowned specialist Corse Automotive.

Under the decklid now sits a 964-generation air-cooled 3.8-litre flat-six, rebuilt and tuned to send 270kW (360hp) to the rear wheels via a close-ratio 915 five-speed manual transmission and Modena Motorsport limited-slip differential.

The 1010kg curb weight and uprated engine equate to an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 2.8kg/hp.

Project ‘Enigma’ is based on an Australian-market 1973 Porsche 911 E shell, and Corse Automotive’s extensive programme of restoration and conversion included chemical dipping the bodyshell, subsequent bodywork and a bare metal respray, uprated suspension, braking system, drivetrain and engine, and a bespoke interior retrim by SRK Customs.
