九華徑村：位於美孚的客家村 Kau Wah Keng Village: A Hakka Village in Mei Fu

九華徑村是最接近市區的客家原居民村，從美孚鐵路站走到村口大概是十分鐘步程。現在的九華徑村範圍已經大爲縮小，很多房子也很破舊，居住條件不很理想。因此，很多村民已經搬出或者移民海外。估計這個村子最終會被拆遷，所以我們有幸能訪問這個村子，留下一個歷史記錄。
Kau Wah Keng is the Hakka indigenous village nearest to the city area, which is only 10 minutes walk from Mei Foo Station. Now the village area is enormously reduced, and many houses are quite old and shabby. As the living conditions are deteriorating, many of the villagers have moved out of the village or emigrated abroad. The village may face demolition in the near future. We are quite happy to have interviewed this village, so as to keep a historical record.
