A fundraising goal of $40,000 was set — and then surpassed.

Beaches Turks and Caicos, in partnership with the Sandals Foundation, raised more than $54,000 during a cocktail and dinner fundraiser in support of families and communities rebuilding in Jamaica following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.

The elegant evening blended purpose with celebration, featuring live local entertainment, fine dining prepared by the TCI culinary team, signature drinks, silent auctions, pop quizzes, and over 20 prizes that helped drive generous participation from attendees.

The event drew a broad cross-section of the community — including corporate Turks and Caicos, representatives from other resorts, resort guests, and local media — highlighting strong regional support for hurricane recovery efforts.

Proceeds from the fundraiser were officially presented to the Sandals Foundation, which will oversee the distribution of funds, prioritizing the restoration and support of schools and hospitals impacted by Hurricane Melissa.

As climate-related disasters continue to affect the Caribbean, the night delivered a powerful message: when the region comes together, meaningful recovery is possible.
