This video guide will show you how to install ribbon into your Citizen CL-621 Number Plate Printer.

Follow these simple steps...

1. Slide ribbon over the plastic ribbon holder until snug

2. Place empty ribbon body over the second ribbon holder until snug

3. Place the full ribbon furthest to the back of the printing head.

4. Push large blue lever to release printer head and gently push up 180 degrees.

5. Pull the end of the ribbon and feed it below the printer head towards you.

6. Pull the ribbon towards you about 15CM

7. With a small bit of masking tape, stick the end of the ribbon over the surface of the empty
ribbon tube.

8. Hold the tube with the tape facing towards you.

9. Rotate the whole tube anti-clockwise very slightly (the ribbon should wrap behind the tube)

10. Swing the ribbon tube, with the ribbon underneath and the tape still facing towards you, into
the holding mechanism on top of the printer head.

11. Turn the blue handle on the ribbon holder FURTHEST away from you ant-clockwise till the
ribbon is taught.

12. Push down printer head and click in place.

13. Close printer cover
