Doepfer A-136 Distortion / Waveshaper: Demo 1

Описание к видео Doepfer A-136 Distortion / Waveshaper: Demo 1

Taking the asymmetrical clipping of the Behringer CP3A-M to the next level with the Doepfer A-136 Distortion / Waveshaper module.

Notes:
♦ The A-136 is great for adding more harmonic "heft" to triangle and sinewaves, but the results that can be achieved aren't has harmonically dense as say, a sawtooth wave. Therefore triangle waves and sinewaves that have had harmonics added by the A-136 are very useful for mixing with other waveforms (such as square waves pitched an octave or two lower, synced to the triangle wave VCO), to create harmonically rich, complex and unique synth voices. (Video and music demo on this to follow)
♦ The "Amplification control for original signal", as well as amplifying the signal also acts as an inverter. Things can get pretty confusing fast, especially when using the A-136 with the 55 modules, as they have hot (+) and cold (-) ins and outs. Adding further confusion, the CP3A's low-level asymmetric clipping.
♦ The A-136 can also be used to effect CV signals.
♦ The handy attenuator/ inverter / amplifier built into the A-136 can be used along with the 914 fixed filter bank and CP3A-M to cut freq bands (Video to follow).

Side note: I'm able to use the 911 envelope without the 961 interface s-trig converter due to this cable: http://ebay.us/4QwJJ0?cmpnId=5338273189
