Paralyzed Kitten Overcomes The Tragedy That Nearly Claimed His Life—Now, He Needs Ongoing Medical Support To Thrive
Born in a truck warehouse where multiple stray cats have suffered, Lilo was just two months old when he was crushed under tires and left for dead. As we engaged in TNR efforts in the area, we encountered several kittens covered in motor oil, emaciated, and some that were not far from their last breath. When we discovered Lilo, we knew there wasn’t a second to waste. He needed help FAST!

Lilo’s accident shattered his L4 and L5 vertebrae, leaving him permanently paralyzed from the waist down. After weeks in the hospital and countless hours of dedicated, intensive care, Lilo’s life has transformed. Today, he’s learning to zoom around in his wheelchair, showing everyone that joy can rise from heartbreak. This sweetheart is chasing toys, exploring, and loving life again, but his story doesn’t end there.

Lilo requires a little extra care to live his best life. We take him on frequent vet visits, change his diapers multiple times a day, and purchase specialized maintenance supplies to ensure he’s healthy and comfortable. We’re dedicated to giving Lilo every chance to thrive, but the cost of his medical needs and care supplies is overwhelming. Not to mention the fact that we’ll have to get new wheelchairs as he grows bigger. This is more than we can manage alone, and so, we’re turning to the CUDDLY community for support.
