Hey so what is up guys Techradiant here, and there hasn’t been a day I have woke up and not searched all android news websites for official android Oreo for the OnePlus 5T, but now it’s finally have a look at it.

So the first thing after this update is the brand new quick settings design with that beautiful settings icon just there at the first swipe, because we all know the pain of swiping down two times just to get to the settings. Other than that, the icons are redesign for good and the battery percentage is also there in the first swipe.

Picture in Picture finally in the OnePlus 5T and I have to say it looks beautiful in this six inch display. I wasn’t able to show a YouTube video as I don’t have YouTube red and I prefer to wait for 5 seconds and just press skip rather than paying $10 a month.

So, the next thing is you all the android Oreo settings, you get the cool battery settings and the free up space settings. And by the way just a thing I noticed, whenever I press free up space it opens Google’s files go if you have it installed. We also do get to play with an octopus on android Oreo. Google just go back to the lollipop and marshmallow game because I loved it.

Smart text selection is one my favorite features when it comes to android oreo because it saves a lot time, I mean just think how hard life was before android oreo. But now all you’ve got to do is just select it and it will automatically link the app.

Auto fill is a very needed feature in this day and age because we all know how hard it is to remember all our passwords and specially to type it. It takes an eternity if you have a password like this.

Other than that I don’t really think there is something new, expect all the new features in OnePlus launcher but I use nova launcher so I don’t really care by the way give this video a thumbs up if you use nova launcher too. And now you are able to upload images to “Shot on OnePlus” If you are that mobile photographer.

Talking about bugs and glitches I haven’t come across any of them during my use and I guess it very fast and its pretty much stable.

Too all those root users you will be losing TWRP as it allows you to get OTA Updates and it will give this message but if you use this custom TWRP then you can modify system storage and then get all those root features back. Keep in mind that after you root you can’t install OTA update files instead you have to dirty Flash all the new updates with the full file that crosses a gigabyte.
