Emma: Thanking Her Childhood Cancer Care Team

“I am honored to have gotten the privilege of having a team such as yours to help me get through the hardest time of my life. From the second I walked through the door until I left, you made me feel so loved.”

Not all our caregivers get to hear sentiments like this from the kids they care for. And not all our patients get the opportunity to personally thank the experts who cared for them, made them feel loved or even saved their lives.

But we were honored to create such an opportunity for Emma, who received pediatric cancer treatment at Children’s Hospital Colorado, North Campus, and six of our team members, including a furry, four-legged friend. Each person read a personalized message of gratitude from Emma and then welcomed some special guests. Watch this video to see who they were.
