How to play PS5 disc game without disc - simple version

UPDATE:With the 1st of December 2021 System Software Patch for PS5 Sony fixed this hack. It will only work with a previous version of the system software if you haven't updated or have an old console.

This tutorial will show you how to play a PS5 disc game without a disc inside so you can play the same disc game on multiple consoles at the same time OR install a new PS4 or PS5 disc game while playing a different PS5 disc game.

1. Make sure game was started with disc inside
2. From the Home interface, press Options on the game, select "Eject Disc"
3. Immediately after, mash X button. The UI might throw you out of the game app but continuously pressing X will get you back in and running without the disc. While this method is easier to perform, if you can't pull it through try changing the PSN account or disconnect from internet. The video demo was made using a US account on an EU console and disc. With different region accounts (US/EU/Asia) or being disconnected from the internet the timing and behavior of that fullscreen startup image changes.
