Greece, N.Y. (WHAM) — Dawson Marshall said he rushed to help after he witnessed Saturday's fatal crash at the intersection of West Ridge and Elmgrove roads.

"It's very sad," Marshall told 13WHAM Sunday. "It's something that you don't really want to see. But in that moment, it's good that everybody came together to try and help."

Marshall said he and several bystanders rushed toward the scene moments after a westbound vehicle struck a stopped car that had two people inside. Some directed traffic, while others helped render medical aid before first responders arrived.
