Both are compact, the Z6 has a 24.5 megapixel sensor, while the Z7 has a 45.7 megapixel sensor. Both are capable of shooting 4K in either DX or FX mode. The full frame name has a zero crop factor.

New NLOG function with up to 12 stops of dynamic range. You can output 10 bit video through the HDMI output to an external recorder such as an Atomos Ninja 5. Also new is that the cameras can be charged with a USB-C connection, great for charging on the go.
