Birds of the World is the world's leading scholarly ornithological platform featuring bird life histories and data resources for every bird in the world. This global ornithological resource drives scientific research, education and biodiversity conservation around the world.

This special 3-part eBird Status and Trends Workshop is targeted for those familiar with using R. In this series, attendees will be introduced to the range of data provided by the eBird Status and Trends Data Products as well as the suite of tools and online training material available for working with the data. Through a series of live examples in the R programming language, attendees will learn how to download, analyze, and visualize these data products. The specific topics covered may include using the data for site selection, generating migration chronologies for a given region and species, and comparing the data products across multiple species.

Part II focuses specifically on Trends data products.
