My journey as an amateur 3D printer and painter!

Welcome to Krak Fox Studios-my brand-new YouTube channel dedicated to the ups and downs of a truly average model enthusiast, 3D printing hobbyist, and completely amateur painter! In this very first "in-person" video, I'll introduce myself and invite you along for the ride as I attempt to bring stunning miniatures to life. I'll take you through the full-sized Alien warrior head and Alien Space Jockey I've been working on, as well as a glimpse at my Balrog and Gandalf duo, plus a Deadpool vs. Wolverine project. These prints reflect my love for pop culture, sci-fi, and fantasy. If you're into "Red Dwarf," Alien warriors, facehuggers, or even D&D characters, there's a good chance you'll find something to pique your interest here.

Throughout upcoming videos, I'll discuss how I decide which files to purchase or download, how I set up my prints (including all the slicing and support settings), and how I recover from inevitable print failures. Then, of course, I'll move on to painting miniatures, giving them that extra flair to stand out on your shelf or tabletop. Whether you're just learning how to prime, basecoat, and dry brush, or you're interested in trying out advanced washes and highlights, I'll be testing and sharing everything I learn. My hope is that you'll find little nuggets of inspiration-or at least enjoy a laugh when something goes disastrously wrong (and it inevitably will!).
