In this video, we reveal the results of the Quad Cortex V2 A/B/C comparison.
First of all—thank you for all your comments. Your feedback has been incredibly helpful and played a big role in what we did next.

We’ve put together a brand-new A/B/C/D comparison, and this time we’ve included the real amps as a reference. The amps we chose are:

Marshall JTM45/100
Gibson GA-20
Gibson GA-200
Fender Black face Pro Reverb
Bogner Uberschall MKII
Bad Cat Era 30
Magnatone Twilighter Stereo with an original MKIII Tone Bender

The goal is to see just how accurately each capture platform handles a set of amps with very different tonal characteristics in very different gain ranges.

Can you tell which is which? Do you hear clear differences? What stands out to you the most—and which version do you prefer? And most importantly - which is the real amp - A/B/C or D?
