⛏️🐴 Deep inside an ABANDONED Pennsylvania Anthracite Coal Mine, I stumbled upon something I NEVER expected to find… a forgotten mule barn AND a Roman Catholic Shrine to Jesus Christ hidden in total darkness. 🙏😮

What began as a routine underground exploration, turned into one of the most surreal discoveries I’ve ever made in the Anthracite region. Far below the surface — in tunnels dug over a century ago — I found the remains of a Mule Barn, where hardworking coal mules once lived, ate, and waited between brutal shifts hauling coal cars through the Mine.

But that wasn’t the most WILD part…

In the corner of the Barn, surrounded by crumbling concrete pillars, rusted metal, and decades of untouched dust, was a hand-built Shrine to Jesus Christ complete with candles! A symbol of faith carved into the darkness by Miners who risked their lives every single day.

Why was it there?
Who built it?
