An Albergo Diffuso is a cool kind of Italian luxury boutique hotel where the accommodations are spread out across different buildings. They are usually in historic structures in small towns. Here's a tour of my amazing suite at Hotel Mannois (http://www.mannois.it), an albergo diffuso in Orosei, Sardinia, Italy. The little hotel is in the heart of Orosei, making it easy to explore the city. I loved the huge suite with its many rooms and its large terrace overlooking the church.

I flew to Sardinia on Air Italy (http://www.airitaly.com) from LAX. They have direct flights to Milan from LAX, JFK, MIA and SFO, then frequent flights to Sardinia from Milan.
