A History of the Flow Arts Part 2: Fire spinning and Flow culture

Charting the history of the Flow Arts in the modern era, including the emergence of fire spinning and fire dancing as well as the beginnings of festival and flow psychology and culture, culminating in the online community we now have on YouTube, Instagram, and many more platforms!

Last week we talked about the history of many of the props that have entered common usage among flow artists. This week, we’re going to talk about modern history, the emergence of new performance styles, and how Flow Arts became as much a philosophy as it is a pastime.
