Size: It measures 33 feet long, 42 feet wide, and 13 feet high, weighing approximately 110 tons.
Inspiration: Kapoor drew inspiration from liquid mercury, aiming to create a work that invites exploration and interaction.

(Crown Fountain) Design: The fountain consists of two 50-foot-tall glass brick towers facing each other, which project video images of the faces of Chicago residents. The towers are set in a shallow reflecting pool that invites visitors to walk through.

Video Projections: The towers display a rotating series of images that show the faces of various Chicagoans. Every few minutes, the faces may appear to “spit” water from their mouths, creating a playful interaction with the spectators.

Water Features: The fountain's water jets can be turned on and off, allowing for different interactive experiences. The shallow pool is a popular spot for children and families, especially during warmer months.

(Jay Pritzker Pavilion)Design: The pavilion features a striking stainless steel canopy that resembles a flowing ribbon. The design not only serves an aesthetic purpose but also enhances sound quality, making it one of the premier outdoor performance spaces.

Capacity: The pavilion can accommodate up to 11,000 people, with around 4,000 seats in a fixed seating area and additional space on the Great Lawn for concertgoers to spread out.

Acoustic Technology: The pavilion incorporates advanced acoustic technologies, including a system of speakers and sound reflectors, to ensure high-quality sound for both audiences in the seats and those on the lawn.

(Nichols Bridgeway)Design: The bridge features a sleek, modern design with a curved form that complements the surrounding architecture. Its materials include steel and glass, providing an open and airy feel.

Length: The bridge spans approximately 700 feet, providing a safe and scenic pathway for pedestrians and cyclists.

Landscaping: The approach to the bridge is landscaped with native plants and features a gradual slope, making it accessible for people of all ages and abilities.
