Africanized bee removal | Keepers Harvest

In all our years of beekeeping and doing bee removals, we have never had to kill bees, until this day! It's the last thing we ever want to do, but with this certain breed of bees, its really the only option.

Africanized bees are known to be more aggressive, attack in greater numbers and for longer periods of time because in their natural habitat they had to fight off more predators than European bee breeds, for example.

We received a call from a home owner here in South Austin, TX area earlier this day. He had just been stung about 25 times by these bees as he was driving his lawn mower. If he were allergic to bee venom, he would probably have taken a trip to the ER! Luckily he wasn't allergic and we were able to come out same day to take care of this removal for them.

If you have a been hive at your home make sure to call a professional because a removal like this is highly complicated and takes years of experience to navigate and remove the bees effectively.
