Salman Khan was sentenced to a 5 years long imprisonment. The actor was taken for a medical checkup post his conviction. Salman has been kept in barrack number 2 and his ID number is criminal number 106.

Before settling in his barrack Salman had a brief meeting with the DIG of the jail and discussed a few things with him.

In a media interview the DIG of the Jodhpur jail said that Salman has not demanded any special things for him. He was served the day to day food that all the other criminals were served that is dal, chapati and vegetable. He was given 4 blankets to sleep and was sleeping on the floor. According to the DIG no special demands have been made from Salman's end. Salman's only concern was the toilet for which he had also spoken about the last time he was in Jodhpur jail.

Today on 6th April, 2018 Salman's lawyers have applied for a bail plea to the high court and if the court permits for bail then Salman will be set free on bail but if the high court denies bail salman will have to stay in hail for another two days and court is closed on saturdays and sundays.
