1) The addition of Shimano’s innovative InfinityDrive technology leverages a new drag design to increase drag force while increasing side load pressure to produce up to 30% lighter rotation during tough battles and high drag situations.

2) X-Protect combines a water-repellent coating and a specially designed water-channeling labyrinth construction, which stops water from penetrating vital areas in the reel. X-Protect provides high-level water resistance without sacrificing light gear feel and rotation. The Talica II A features improved pinion and drive gear ball bearing protection.

3)Featuring a HAGANE Body made of highly rigid aluminum, the Talica II A has reduced its weight to the limit. The HAGANE Body eliminates flex, warp and distortion of the reel, allowing smooth reeling with little power loss. Improving on its S-Compact Body, the palming side plate of the reel is an additional 6% smaller than the previous generation.
