When Dale Jr WON For AMERICA After 9/11!

After the attacks of September 11th 2001 in New York City and Washington DC, NASCAR postponed the Cup Series race scheduled for that week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway until the end of the year in November. The first race back took place on September 23 at Dover in front of 140,000 fans. It was a very patriotic affair with a action packed caution filled race. It also had some NASCAR Cup Series veterans getting into it on and off the track. When the dust settled it was Dale Earnhardt Jr scoring the win.
