"Inhaling Shadows"
follows the journey of a character as he reflects on his past and the choices that led him down the path of smoking. As a child, he witnesses his mother's struggle with cigarette smoke-induced coughing fits, sparking a deep aversion to smoking within him and a
vow to never pick up the habit himself. However, as he navigates the complexities of adulthood, he finds himself turning to cigarettes as a coping mechanism for the stress and challenges of life.

While seated at a bus stop, he has a poignant encounter with a younger version of himself and his mother, triggering memories of his childhood promise. Confronted with the reality of his
broken vow, he experiences a tumult of emotions—nostalgia, regret, defiance, and determination. Despite acknowledging his failure to keep his promise, he finds a renewed sense
of resolve to confront his struggles head-on.

As he takes another puff of his cigarette, he does so with a newfound perspective. Each
inhalation serves as a reminder of his past self and the person he aspires to become. "Inhaling Shadows" is a powerful exploration of regret, resilience, and the enduring struggle for self-redemption.
