Is Downtown Indianapolis Indiana Safe? | My Take... or, my opinion about the topic many people talk about. Indianapolis, Indiana does not have a stellar safety reputation. I'm not sure any big city truly does. And yes... Indianapolis is a big city. There are certainly parts that I would consider dangerous. But, most of Indianapolis I would consider the opposite. Downtown Indianapolis is almost always a topic when it comes to safety. Downtown is a busy place with something relatively large going on multiple times a year. Can it really be that dangerous? I'll discuss this some in this video.
